A Few Biscuit Belly Resolutions (Straight From the Chief Biscuit Eater Herself)

The new year always shows up with big expectations. Fresh starts. Bold goals. Lofty resolutions that sound great in theory and feel… ambitious by week two.

At Biscuit Belly, we like to keep things a little simpler.

Our Chief Biscuit Eater, Lauren Coulter, has always believed that growth doesn’t have to mean losing your soul. That good food should come with good company. And that some of life’s best moments happen over a biscuit and a cup of coffee… preferably with gravy involved.

So instead of a long list of promises, we’re kicking off the year with a handful of Biscuit Belly resolutions… the kind we can actually keep.

1. Keep the Classics Classic

Some things don’t need reinventing. A fluffy biscuit. Creamy sausage gravy. A solid mimosa that understands the assignment.

This year, we’re doubling down on what made Biscuit Belly what it is in the first place… craveable comfort food made from scratch, served with intention. Because when something works, there’s no need to mess with it.

Sometimes the best resolution is simply doing what you do best… really well.

2. Stay Rooted in the Communities We Serve

We never want to be just another sign on the building.

Whether it’s supporting local schools, showing up at neighborhood events, or partnering with organizations that matter to our guests, community will always be at the heart of Biscuit Belly. Growth is exciting, but connection is non-negotiable.

Good people. Good food. Good neighbors.

That’s the goal… always.

3. Make Room for Celebration (Big and Small)

National Biscuit and Gravy Day. Birthdays. Random Tuesdays that deserve a little joy.

Food has a way of turning everyday moments into memories, and we plan to keep leaning into that. Whether you’re celebrating something big or just treating yourself to brunch because you made it through the week, Biscuit Belly is here for it.

And yes… catering absolutely counts as self-care.

4. Don’t Take Ourselves Too Seriously

Life is heavy enough. Brunch shouldn’t be.

We believe laughter belongs at the table. That a little humor goes a long way. And that it’s okay to have strong opinions about biscuits while still keeping things light.

If you catch us making a dad joke or encouraging stretchy pants… that’s intentional.

5. Keep Showing Up With Gratitude

We don’t take it lightly that you choose to spend your mornings with us.

Every visit, every order, every kind word shared with our team matters more than you probably realize. This year, we’re committed to listening more, thanking more, and never forgetting that Biscuit Belly exists because of the people who walk through our doors.

Here’s to Another Year of Damn Good Biscuits

No gimmicks. No corporate fluff. Just honest food, warm hospitality, and a whole lot of gratitude.

From our Chief Biscuit Eater to your brunch table… cheers to a year filled with good conversations, full plates, and biscuits worth slowing down for.

We can’t wait to share it with you.
